The duration of the project is 24 months. He presented the Project and the main activities of the project were discussed during the meeting.

International Military Academic Forum – iMAF 2021

Portuguese Military Academy

The main purpose of this event was to improve, develop and explore synergies of the European military education systems, in terms of training young officers, through a transparent and effective dialogue.

During this meeting, it was reiterated once again the importance of cooperation between military higher education institutions in the European Union, by organizing international semesters, training modules or other types of activities with international participation, through which military students acquire skills and abilities to better prepare them for positions that involve working in an international environment. Mariusz GONTARCZYK presented the Project. The Questionnaire for teachers on digital Competences was being developed by the four partner countries in order to collect the needs. All participants to the IMAF 2021 were invited to share the questionnaire among the teachers of their Institution

Members of the Projects reported on the third Teaching and Learning activities for teachers (C4) in Security and Defence Area held at “Vasil Levski” National Military University, Shumen, Bulgaria. Participant was informed about on the forth Teaching and Learning activities for students and teachers (C5-C6) in Security and Defence Area organised in Torino (Italy) by the IT Army Education and Training Command and School of Applied Military Studies and University of Turin on13-16 March 2023. It was announced that the next steps in the project’s development are to ask an extension of 4 months of the Project in order to implement also a questionnaire for students in Defence and Security area, to have the forth TMP in Bucharest on 19 May 2023 and to use the event CERC 20-21 April 2023 in Bucharest at Military Technical Academy “Ferdinand I” as occasion to present the results of DIGICODE Projects and to invite the students participants to fill in the questionnaire.

Moreover that during the eLSE Conference April 27th – 28th, 2023, Bucharest some results of the Project will be presented and discussed.

It was announced that EU Community gave the approval for an extension of 4 month. In this way the Project will be finish on 30 August 2023.

Participants are informed that there will be the final TPM in Warsaw 12-14 June 2023 in order to discuss about the activities of dissemination (Paper submitted to EL Conference, analysis pf the Students questionnaire…)

Bip4Bips  was a meeting for professors to design and implement Blended Intensive Programs (BIP) through the living experience of one BIP in the framework of the Erasmus+ Connect-UNITA project. The development of transnational and transdisciplinary programs of study,  innovative learning and teaching methods, including online collaboration, research-based learning, and challenge-based approaches, to address societal challenges were discussed.
